This treatment can be used to temporarily relax the muscles of the face, smoothing out lines and wrinkles. It can be used to help halt the wrinkling process or stop wrinkles appearing. It helps to smooth out wrinkles and effectively reduces signs of skin aging whilst maintaining a natural look.
There are 3 main areas that are routinely treated. The horizontal forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet.

- How long will the effects last? - The results of anti wrinkle treatment will gradually wear off over 3-6 months, depending on the individual.
- How long will it take for the treatment results to be seen? - The treatment usually takes 3 to 5 days to begin working. The full effects are usually evident around 2 weeks after treatment.
- Will the treatment hurt? - You will feel a mild sting from each needle. We use a technique that minimises this, but can use numbing cream if it will make you feel more comfortable.
- Do I need to do anything specific prior to treatment? - Please avoid drinking any alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to the appointment as this will help reduce the risk of bleeding and bruising.
- Can I have this treatment if I am pregnant or breastfeeding? - No, this treatment is not recommended whilst you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Can I have this treatment if I have had a covid vaccine? - It is recommended that you do not have any treatments for 2 weeks before and 3 weeks having a covid vaccine.
